Baby Dedication

We had Aaron's baby dedication on July 27th and everything went well. We went to church for the dedication and then came back to our house for brunch with family. It was a very special day. Aaron looked especially adorable in his cute sailor outfit all the way from good ole South Carolina (thanks Aunt Sharon!!).
Here's Aaron all dressed up!!

Here we are praying at church- we're gonna have to teach Aaron to close his eyes during the prayers:) We'll work on that;) As usual, he was such a good baby at chuch. He went right to sleep after we sat back down.

Pictures of the family. Jeremy had to work that day and because of his National Guard duty and taking time off when Aaron was born, he's a little short on vacation days, so he came from work and had to go right back to work. Since they only do the dedication's every so often, we wanted to have it done as soon as we could. Plus, Aaron had to fit in that cute little outfit!!

Here's a picture of all of Aaron's cousins on the V side. You may notice only one girl!! They are rascalls for sure! We are so excited for Aaron to grow up with so many close cousins. Family gatherings will certainly be exciting with all those little guys toddling around!
From left- Grant holding Lane, Lexi holding Drew, and Conner holding Aaron.
We got to choose a bible verse for Aaron's dedication certificate and we chose 3 John 1:4
"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."
As parents, we have so many hopes and dreams for Aaron, but the greatest is that he will grow with Christ and we pray that we can teach him well. We think this verse is very fitting for this occasion and throughout Aaron's life. I hope we can use this verse for Aaron when he graduates from high school a LONG time from now!!
Lots of love!
