Aaron received his tubes today and did wonderful during the procedure and is great as we speak. We had to wait quite a bit and I know it was hard for Aaron as he was very hungry and thirsty. He kept signing to us in the car on the way to the hospital that he wanted a drink. We felt so bad!! His surgery only lasted about 15 minutes and we saw him only about 35 minutes after he went back. When we went back Aaron was inconsolable. He just wanted out of there and to be done being messed with! He kept looking around at the environment and I could tell he was like, what are they going to do to me now!?! The minute stood up with him he calmed down and was
completely fine. We got home a little bit ago and he just finished off Jeremy's
ramen noodles and was drinking all of Jeremy's V8 (which he loved!). Now he's down for a nap. Hope he still wants to sleep tonight!!
Jeremy's doing better today. His pain is much more under control and he ate some
ramen noodles. That was his first "solid" and he seemed to do okay with it. We're just taking things day by day.
Love,
Tiff
Aaron in the waiting room; He was all smiles!

In the
pre-op exam room with Daddy

Aaron fell asleep while waiting for his surgery. We had to check into
pre-op at 1130 and his surgery was scheduled for 1300 (1pm). I'm just glad everything was very timely!

Home again! Aaron wearing his signature Mercy Bear shirt. It says "My operation was bearable at Children's Mercy Hospital."

Little climber and a happy boy!
